As our CEO since 2018, Scott has guided BluMetric through a time of transition, adaptation, and growth.
Scott is a hydrogeologist who holds professional hydrogeology and geology accreditations. Prior to joining BluMetric as CEO, Scott was President/COO of the Industrial and Environmental Division of a large California based environmental consulting company.
Previously, he was a Partner and Director at Malcolm Pirnie. As part of that tenure, the firm was merged with a large international publicly traded consultancy in 2009. Scott was responsible for integrating the existing industrial consulting business with the new firm while leading Canadian operations and holding the position of Executive VP of North American Strategic Initiatives. From 1985 to 2002, he was a Senior Hydrogeologist and Officer at Dames and Moore.
Vivian is responsible for leading BluMetric’s strategic financial management to drive profitability, maintain a high level of integrity and transparency and ensure the Company’s strong financial foundation.
Vivian oversees the Company’s financial operations, including planning, forecasting, analysis, reporting and risk management. She is also responsible for human resources and information technology. Vivian has been instrumental in guiding the direction of the Company in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and members of the executive team to propel future growth.
A talented and seasoned financial executive with more than 25 years of financial and business experience, prior to joining BluMetric, Vivian worked in senior executive roles in various industries, including telecom and real estate development.
Wayne leads the business development, and sales and marketing initiatives, for BluMetric.
Wayne has a background in chemistry and education, with 30 years of experience throughout Canada including remote environments with complex logistics and multi-stakeholder involvement on contaminated site assessment and remediation. He gained experience in Canada’s three Territories, developing policies and procedures applicable to unique environments. Wayne specializes in multidisciplinary team management and facilitation, working with Indigenous groups and conducting community consultations.
Wayne has worked closely with public and private sector clients to undertake remediation and development projects, which has supported BluMetric’s expansion into new geographies, markets and services through strategic positioning and the development new opportunities. He has provided progressive leadership and support for BluMetric for over 18 years, with a focus on corporate and business development.
Andy leads the operations team and is responsible for all project delivery.
Andy joined BluMetric in January 2020 and has been in the Director of Operations role since May 2021. He has a master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Environmental Engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience working on environmental projects in Ontario and other parts of Canada. Andy has extensive consulting experience related to solid waste management, landfill design and waste site permitting.
Andy has held various operational leadership and management roles during his career with oversight responsibilities and profit and loss accountability for teams of engineers, scientists, hydrogeologists and other technical and support staff providing high quality consulting services and solutions in a wide range of environmental disciplines.
With more than 40 years of global experience in occupational hygiene, as well as health and safety, Lydia is responsible for BluMetric’s health and safety program as well as consulting services to key clients.
Lydia served as a board member of Ontario’s Workplace Health and Safety Agency (WHSA), the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists (CRBOH), as well as the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH). Lydia is currently Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Workplace Safety North (WSN), and is on the Board of Directors of the International Workplace Health Without Borders (WHWB).
Lydia was awarded the 2008 Hugh Nelson Award of Excellence by OHAO, recognized as an AIHA Fellow in 2014, as an AIHA Distinguished Lecturer in 2016, and was awarded the AIHA Alice Hamilton Award in 2021.
