BluMetric will be supplying a high-quality on-site wastewater treatment system (including ROTORDISK® Rotating Biological Contactors (RBC) with denitrification and phosphorus removal capability) for a new housing development near the GTA. BluMetric was chosen not only because its system meets the very stringent discharge criteria set out by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, but because the Company is able to integrate all elements of the system.
The second contract, won after an extensive comparative evaluation process carried out by the client, is to supply highly specialized wastewater treatment equipment for a major multinational in Carrollton, Kentucky. This plant requires a unique blend of materials and specialty coatings to withstand the service burden of a challenging industrial waste stream.
“These contracts reflect the range of potential for BluMetric’s water treatment technologies, as well as the strength of our growing sales representative network,” said Dan Scroggins, President of BluMetric’s Water Division. “We can see an expanding market in the Canadian real estate development sector, and with the US economy improving, their industrial and municipal markets are beginning to open up.”
BluMetric, a cleantech company, delivers sustainable solutions to complex environmental issues. The Company serves clients in many industrial sectors, and at all levels of government, in Canada and abroad.
