(TSX-V: BLM) announced today that, following the adoption of its Advance Notice By-Law, it received formal notice on Monday, March 5, 2018 from Roger Woeller, a shareholder of the Company and current member of the Board of Directors, of two individuals that he intends to nominate for election to the Board of Directors at the upcoming Annual and Special General Meeting of Shareholders, which is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in Ottawa. The full text of the Advance Notice By-Law is available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com. If Mr. Woeller nominates these individuals for election at the meeting, there will be a total of 8 nominees for the 6 board positions to be elected at the meeting.
The Board of BluMetric reminds shareholders that BluMetric has already proposed a full complement of 6 experienced directors and recommends shareholders vote in favour of the BluMetric nominees. The BluMetric nominees are: Jane Pagel, Geoff Simonett, Vijay Jog, Ronald Donaldson, Hubert Fleming, and Scott MacFabe (CEO of BluMetric). Joachim T. Fritz, B.Sc. Mr. Fritz is a retired patent agent and intellectual property professional with more than 20 years’ management experience. Mr. Fritz managed the national and Ottawa IP groups for a national law firm for 16 years. A Fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), Mr. Fritz currently chairs the Patent Agent Examination Standards Committee of IPIC.
Robert Frank Berner, P.Eng. Mr. Berner has 37 years of management and executive experience across a broad range of disciplines, from technology to finance. Mr. Berner’s most recent positions included 13 years as CTO of Rogers’ wireless operations and 10 years as CTO of Rogers Communications Inc. He has more than 20 years of varied experience as a board member.
