BluMetric is providing Shipboard Chlorine Dosing Units (SCDU) for installation in two Joint Support Ships (JSS) that are currently being built by Seaspan’s Vancouver Shipyards as part of Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS).
The SCDU is a module that is compatible with any shipboard desalination and/or water purification system and storage supply. The SCDU provides treatment for water from the Reception Station, onboarding/offboarding, and/or generated by the ship’s treated water systems, for storage in the ship’s freshwater storage tanks.
