The Opportunity:

BluMetric Environmental Inc. is searching for a Full Time Bilingual Office Administrator (OA) to work with an OA team to ensure effective and efficient operations. The job requires performing an array of administrative duties including, but not limited to formatting, compiling and printing of reports, filing, directing calls and responding to inquiries, and event arrangements in the Montreal, Quebec Office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily office operations.
• Format, compile and assemble reports and other documentation to our company standard.
• Assist with reporting in prepping templates for Project Managers.
• Help assist with organizing a busy field season.
• Assist with tracking office staff’s daily whereabouts.
• Help with translation of internal and external documentation.
• Prepare deliveries with time-sensitive deadlines.
• Point of contact for building maintenance.
• Manage and be responsible for the reconciliation of the local office MasterCard.
• Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels and place orders as required.
• Provide additional administrative support to the OA Team and to all staff.
• Receive and direct inbound calls through the Telus Business Connect phone system, emails, and visitors.
• Distribute all incoming and outgoing mail and courier preparation.
• Help coordinate office social functions.
• Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

Key Qualifications, Education and Skills:

• Bilingual in French and English (required).
• Proficient in office-based software including Microsoft Office computer systems and Adobe Acrobat.
• Office Administration Diploma and a minimum 2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal in French and English.
• Conducts and presents self in a professional manner, maintaining a professional image and demeanor to internal and external clients.
• Affinity for working as a team member.
• Commitment to adhere to the organization’s policies and values.
