BluMetric is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new contract, exceeding C$3.2M in the first year of a possible five-year span, to provide environmental engineering services to Vale Canada Limited (a subsidiary of Vale (NYSE: VALE)).

BluMetric today announced several changes to its Board of Directors following its annual general meeting, held March 26, 2015.

The delay in the filings has resulted from a change in auditors in September 2014 as previously reported, as well as accounting system issues which have taken longer than anticipated to resolve.


BluMetric announced today the retirement of Mr. Ian Malone, its founding Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as of January 31, 2015, as planned. At the same time, the company announced the appointment of Ms Vivian Karaiskos as incoming CFO, subject to regulatory approval.


The plant’s purpose is to ensure that infiltration water pumped from a northern Ontario mine site meets the stringent but environmentally protective Ministry of the Environment requirements.


BluMetric is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a C$1.6 million contract for a prefeasibility hydrogeological study and geotechnical study for Labec Century Iron Ore Inc.’s Joyce Lake and Area Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) Project in Labrador.
